Commander in Training -
Nā Koa Boot Camp
Andrew Hughes was born in Tucson, Arizona and as a self-described military brat ended up here in Yuma, Arizona and like most of us, never got away. Andrew is employed full time at Yuma Proving Ground in the Metrology and Simulation division.
Along with his wife Krissy, he had been through many different diets and workout programs before finally finding World’s Best Boot Camp-Yuma through a member of Na Koa who had just graduated from WBBC. They joined in April 2016 and he was instantly hooked, even so much to say as "He drank the Kool-Aid." After he graduated from the program, Andrew decided to volunteer for WBBC and found satisfaction in helping others get through the program.
Which was little surprise as he also volunteers for a 4-H club where he teaches kids to show poultry and is a member of the Yuma FFA District Alumni. Andrew says he became part of CTP to help others realize that no matter your capabilities you can still live a healthier lifestyle and have fun doing it. In his words, “to see members push themselves and watch changes happen right before you is something that is out of this world.”
